Your first week
The shortest path from installing this game to not having wasted anything. Every figure below is pulled from our fact store; the ordering is our judgement and we say where it is.
Raise the Sanctuary before anything else
It is the gate. 41 of the buildings we hold data for have upgrades that will not start until the Sanctuary reaches a given level, so every hour you spend elsewhere first is an hour you spend again later. If you take one thing from this page, take this.
Fill your survivor posts
Free, permanent, and most new players leave them empty for days. We hold 17 posts; these are the ones in the top priority band:
Builder · Builder's HutFarmer · FarmHerbalist · Herb GardenLumberjack · LumberyardResearcher · Research LabLearn which day of the duel pays for what you are holding
The Alliance Duel runs 6 days, Monday to Saturday, and each day scores different actions. Opening a chest on the wrong day is the single most common way to throw away points in this game. Sunday scores nothing — it is the day to bank, not spend.
Answer the Quiz of Wisdom
Free rewards for questions with fixed answers. We hold 82 of them, split into what is confirmed against footage of the game and what is not — the unconfirmed ones are marked, so you can decide whether to risk one.
Do not spend money yet
Not because spending is wrong, but because in week one you do not yet know what you are short of. That is our opinion rather than a fact we can source, and we would rather say so than dress it up.
If something here is wrong, you are looking at your own screen and we are not. A screenshot settles it faster than any argument — that is what /correct in the bot is for.
